AT&T and Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County collaborated on a unique initiative to provide new laptops to 150 local club members with financial need who exemplify academic excellence, consistent attendance, positive behavior, leadership potential and community service as they start the 2026-27 school year.

Fifth Third Foundation granted $20,000 to Grace Place for Children and Families to expand its Middle School Career Pathways Program. Additionally, PNC Foundation granted $15,000 to support the nonprofit’s Early Learning Program.

Naples Children Foundation granted $1.2 million to Harry Chapin Food Bank to strengthen its child hunger programs in Collier County. Additionally, The Wawa Foundation awarded the food bank with a $15,000 Fly Beyond Key Issue Grant to endow its In-School Pantry Program.

The Marco Island Area Association of REALTORS® partnered with Keep Collier Beautiful, bringing a variety of community partners together for a successful Clean Up Florida’s Waters event, removing more than 350 pounds of trash and debris from Marco Island waterways.

Jim Oberweis, businessman and philanthropist, contributed $10,000 to The Estero Historical Society in support of its Legacy Monument campaign, which will become a permanent tribute to those whose generosity helps preserve Estero’s rich history for future generations.

Gulfstream Homes donated $1,000 to Manatee Middle School to help fund the school's annual 8th-grade trip to Great Wolf Lodge, doing so as part of its broader, sustained initiative to invest in Collier County youth.

Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation granted $70,000 to Youth Haven to support trauma-informed therapeutic and residential care for vulnerable youth across its Emergency and Residential Shelter, Homeless Teen Transitional Living Program and Rob’s Cottage.

United Way Collier and the Keys awarded a $20,000 Community Investment Grant to Fun Time Early Childhood Academy, Inc., providing tuition assistance for underserved children and helping more working families in Naples access high-quality early childhood education.

Avow, Southwest Florida’s original nonprofit hospice, is calling on residents of Lee, Hendry and Glades counties to join its volunteer corps as the organization expands its service area beyond Collier County. The nonprofit will host volunteer enrollment events this month in Fort Myers and Cape Coral, followed by two Veteran Volunteer Bootcamps in September.
